Personally, I’ve tried many ergonomic chairs but cannot seem to find the right one yet, until I chanced upon NextChair. I love how the chair looks so simple and minimalist, but it provides just enough functionalities for my daily use.
Before writing this NextChair review, I have actually tried other ergonomic chairs before, including similar levels such as Hinomi and Ergotunes, but I personally ranked NextChair as the winner by a large margin.
In summary, here are my reasons:
1) Other brands are often bulky and takes up alot of space.
NextChair's ergonomic chair design is very minimalist. It is sleek, and modern looking. Unlike other brands that come with unnecessary bulky handles / oversized levers / protruding wires that are very unsightly.
2) NextChair is more affordable + they provide FREE Delivery + Installation with No Min Spend,
I feel this a great plus point as I tried other brands before that I had to install myself. And all I can say is that an Ergonomic chair is NOT easy to install yourself as there are many different parts.
3) Their GermanAirMesh™ material mesh feels GREAT!
I share this chair with my wife. I weigh about 85KG, my wife about 45KG. And it feels great for both of us. Some other brands uses cheap mesh that is hard, rough, and uncomfortable. OR, they are overly soft and sinks in. But NextChair's Mesh feels very soft and comfortable, yet durable and sturdy and doesnt sink in.

One of the features I really like is the breathability of the mesh. Given Singapore’s humid weather, this is a game changer. I’ve been yearning for a chair for me to sit on without perspiring after long hours.
Not All Mesh Are Alike...
In preparation for this NextChair review I brought out my memory bank of the other mesh chairs that I tried before. I remember that some of the other brands like Hinomi and Ergotunes, including some other cheaper brands, I really did not like.. Some of them are really hard and uncomfortable, and actually some are LESS BREATHABLE. (Which you cant really tell from pictures unless you try it out yourself)
This is why NextChair's Mesh really stands out. It stays cool over a long period of time due to its GermanMesh tech.

An Adjustability I’ve Never Felt Before

Most brands often throw around the term “lumbar support”, however very few that I know go the extra mile to make sure that this feature is customizable to their users.
Hands down the most lumbar support I’ve gotten after trying so many other ergonomic chairs.
When writing this NextChair Reviews, I thought about one of the best points of the chair and this definitely ranks high!
I am 1.8m tall and this adjustment has truly been a game changer for me, with this adjustment, not only am I able to adjust the depth of it but also the height. At 1.8m I often struggle to find the perfect lumbar placement to support my lower back, they are all either too low or simply don’t reach the curve of my lower back.
With this, I could find the perfect tune-in support I needed to match the natural curve of my lower back. Trust me when I say it, this immediately helped me reduce that nagging pressure I often felt after long working sessions.
This level of personalization is rare, even in premium chairs. This true ergonomic engineering provided by NextChair has exceeded my expectations.
The Sliding and Seat Tilting Function
Among the functions mentioned, the chair also comes with these two customizable functions, the seat tilt and sliding seat function. Firstly, the seat tilt function, its amazing customizability allows me to adjust the seat slightly inclined which helps keep that constant pressure off my lower back after long hours, redistributing it onto my thigh which is rested on the seat. I can also lock it in a position that matches my body’s natural posture without feeling like I’m slouching or being forced into an unnatural position.

Secondly, moving on to the sliding seat function. As I am 1.8m tall, I often struggle to find seats that can support the full length of my thighs. This seat depth is often an issue, most of the chair seats were too short, leaving my half of my thighs unsupported. But NextChair’s sliding seat mechanism is smooth and easy to use. It allows me to extend or retract the seat base to the exact length I need, after finding the perfect position, my whole body felt so balanced and grounded.

After spending 6 months with NextChair's Luxe 2.0 Model, I can confidently say in this NextChair review, that for its price, you are getting more than what you pay for. Getting a NextChair is an investment in daily comfort and long-term spinal health. From breathable German air mesh to the LumbarFlo as well as the seat tilt and sliding seat function, these are functions that will provide you with the comfort you are looking for.
NextChair has exceeded my expectations in all the right ways, and I will highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to upgrade their sitting experience.
